I know that here in Florida DRLs are not required but would it be against the laws to change thier color foreveryday use...to say...blue...I figure the only laws that would apply are the same as those to neons since these arn't required lights. Anyone up on florida traffic laws?

Yeah, I figured as much also, I'm told blue neons are illegal as well, but lots of people get away with it in this part of florida cause the cops don't seem to care much.

anything that is blue or red in color is illegal in the front or on the bottom, the only red you can have are your tail lights. the reason for this is that blue and red represent police vehicles.

Thanks so far, I understand why I couldn't have them because of thier color, but would the act of changing the color be iliegal in itself?

usually anything like that is illegal. Certain colors are not allowed.
