sure you can try, and next thing you know is boom. blown engine, think about it, you cant just add everything you want into a car, onless ur rich, anything can happend with money, but i dont think our engines can handle it, maybe some other engine, but not a 4 cylinder, good luck

if you're gonna knock him, at least tell him something useful. there are plenty of superchargers available for your gts. blitz offers a full kit: http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp...e=Superchargers [overboost.com]

yeah just beef up the internals then grab either a Turbo or supercharger kit.

but you will probably need to spend a lot of time on the dyno with a powerFC to tune that sucker right.

Nick - you don't have to be so negative bro...

Especial187 -> first of all, learn about the potential advantages and drawbacks of a s/c compared to Turbo. Then, if you still want to supercharge, I suggest the Blitz S/C. Also, if you plan on using nitrous, get the Zex wet kit which only sprays at WOT...

HEY!! angry just because you have vynals dosnt mean ur a ricer budd!!! and for the brand of header...hotshot, or DC, they have pretty good gains and is a prettyg ood investment..as for the nitrous.. i have the TNT(brand) kit.. and ive had no problems with it... nitrous is the best bang fo the buck imo...www.nitrous-power.com.. thats where you can get a pretty good bit of nitrous stuff..go with the wet if you can.. i had to go custom to get to run the dry(should have went wet) would have been cheaper.. good luck bro thumbsup

off topic:

isnt "NOS" just a nitrous company, shouldnt people use the word nitrous instead of NOS, am i wrong but do people use the word NOS cause of The Fast and the Furious?? but i guess it can still apply since the company's name stands for Nitrous Oxide System confused

I think NOS was a slang word for Nitros Oxide long before the company.

still off topic:
the movie is okay, but i dislike the effect it had on some people on the street... i care less how people customize their cars (its their car) but its really stupid when they start flaming other people's ride cause they learned all their street car info from the movie.

I used to be able to get 350's for $400 each. I've killed quite a few of them. I loved to eat those Iroqs and Camaros with my POS Buick. Its amazing how a 5,000 pound car can go so fast. Good fun. thumbsup

you'll need new internals bro, as well as o-ringing your block to handle the pressure, and you may even need to have your gears in your tranny re-cast to make sure they can handle the power

compression is way too high in the 2ZZ my friend... You can run the Supercharger, or N2O (if it's a wet system) but to run both, you will have to reduce the compression or you will detonate if you are not careful.

you could run both stock, but it's not reccommended unless you are running racing fuel (100+ octane) or have something else in place to avoid detonation such as water or alcohol injection. I would definitely add fuel management of some sort too (see posts on the Power FC) Adding a deck ring or pinning the sleeves would be a good idea too, otherwise your cylinders will eventually crack from all the flexing.

If you run both an S/C and N20 on a stock 2zz, you definitely need to keep the boost levels low. and not run more than a 35 shot.
High compression + nitrous + supercharger = not good...

to really see the benifits of such a setup and make it reliable, you will need to beef up your block, connecting rods, stiffen up the valvetrain a bit, and you will need some good low-compression pistons with some total-seal rings.

So could I run just Nos? With just Nos do I still have to beef up my internals? Thanks bro.

as long as you don't run your n2o constantly (i.e. every day and then some) you should be "okay", but you may want to do some reinforcing before hand. if anything, you should follow this theory (not good for drag racer, but good for auto-x and track racing): make your car run smoother and stop faster first, then make it handle better, then make it faster.

I would like to make my car faster but safe. Any hints. I'm no tuner and all I heard from my buds is use Nos and if you can S/C. I was thinking internals only maby liter and stronger then some good stuff but I can't find any internals. Anyone know of some companies that sell my stuff? 2000 GTS.

That comment couldnt be any further from the truth. Yeah a lot of people have it on their car as the only main power upgrade, but thats cause its the easiest to install and cheapest. that doesnt mean they have no clue about cars. If i had the money i'd have n2o, and i dare you to say i dont know anything about cars.
