Looks good only on a show car.

If I saw someone on the street with them, I would laugh my ass off.

Why don't you like them? I like the way they look but are they practical? Im not into racing or anything like that I just want a fast car that look nice.

I got my lambo's put on back in December and to tell you the truth it is the least practical mod you could ever do to a daily driver. I'm constantly opening and closing the passenger door for unexperianced people. It does draw a lot of attention, especially with the germans... (a total chick magnet) but it's something I would never do to any other car I ever own!

I really want lambo doors myself, but I'm a bit worried about the quality of the different kits out there. The celica is my daily drive, so I need something that can handle a bit more than just beeing opened and closed 4-5 times a year.

Does anyone know of any QUALITY kits that they can recommend?

C2gas's lambos are great! And I think they are very practical for a daily driver. So what, you got to get the door for your friends and your girl, but its better than them fucking them up. My doors get so much attention, best mod I done yet, and I have done a lot shit so far.

The only downfar. Getting your car services. You got to find a place that will take car of your car and becareful when opening you doors. If someone goes to open hard like a regular hinge, they will definetely cause damage. Other than that, I love my kit.

I hated my VDC Kit. Worst Mod i ever did. I had one of the first kits installed on my car back in March of '03 and i had to replace the shocks twice.

I am now back to stock hinges and i am soooooo much happier.
Daily Driver DON"T DO IT
SHOW CAR will give a couple of more points, but now it is like the king of RICER MODS thumbsdown

I was wondering how lambo doors work? So if you have lambo doors, do you open it by hands? Or switch? And can you open doors with windows up??

I wouldn't get vertical doors personally - they don't look right on a celica imo... especially not on a daily driver

i would like having vertical doors.

i don't know 'bout you guys but my doors are like four feet long and open up like ninety degrees. the doors swinging open have the potential to hit other cars with extreme force.

for a future mod i'd like a "lambo" door hinges due to the dimensions of the door and the statistical likelihood of damage possibly occuring due to the "wingspan."

Just like anything else it all comes down to personal preference. I got mine from C2Gas and I don't regret it for a second. I only have the driver side on right now, but people don't even notice that cause it never gets opened. When I do have people in my car they actually get mad at me cause they're door doesn't have the hinge on it! rofl

SATOSHI: What do you think about the quality of your lambo doors? You got yours from www.carexcess.com [carexcess.com] - right? Are they any good?

And can anyone tell me if the kits from www.verticaldoors.com [verticaldoors.com] are worth the price, compared to others? A Decah kit is like 1200-1400 usd. so if a decah kit is good quality, WHY would anyone go and spend twice the ammount and buy a kit from verticaldoors.com for 2100 usd ?? are they THAT much better than everybody else?

Both kits are good and for the most part the same. Can you show me where you found the decah kit for that price. I know they are normally more.

Anyway, I still tell you to go with C3GAS's kit. And you'll save money!
