Inside your trunk you have your plastic piece and you need to take it off. They are just mounting clips so you can pull it off carefully with a screwdriver. Also inside your handle you have to take out a screw. From there I am not sure becasue I have never done it. But I am sure that the lights have to be right in that area.
yup the lights are right there after you take off the plastic piece...i replaced mine with hyper white ones
