Yeah whats up yall, me and my gurl have been working hard at getting my interior done, its not complete but it looks hella nice, i gotta fix a few scratched, and do a few more panels thruout the car (in the hatch area) and so on, then ill head to the trunk area and build a custom rear seat box, so that i aint got any seats. tell me what ya think about the done deal
make sure you sand down the surface, and then wipe it with a wet towel. Let it dry, then use some primer to cover it up, 2 or 3 layers of that, and then wipe it with some 000 Grade steel wool. After then start using your color. put 4-6 coats on to be safe. Then wetsand that. After that then Put on some layers of clearcoat to make it look really shiny.
soory spaztikid i was just joking last night i was really bored. i dont even know this steven guy...and yeah i never saw any pics of his car so yeah it was just a joke, and funny how sumone who doesnt like me, doesnt like my car? weird huh?
i was just joking last night anyways. really bored
You sound like you need a girl my man. Also don't rag on him because he doesn't like your work. If you like it thats all that matters. Its good work but its just not my style.
looks like you put a lot of work into that..looks good, but i would have chosen diff colors myself..personally i think the white is a little too much...but then again its just not my style...i gotta say though...keep up the good work, if you like it thats all that matters
White's too bright during sunny days, but then again, it's probably the number one choice on my list to paint my car interior if I ever did just because it's something you don't see a lot on the roads. I like it, but not your exterior, don't like the decal sorry. But other than that, good job so far! All you need is a body kit to make your car stand out more on the exterior.
actually it looks great IMO..and even more props for doing it himself. Keep in mind the interior looks outdated so obviously it wont look all flashy. its simple and im sure with a sick exterior paint job and some more work, that interior will compliment his car very nicely.
i dont mind the graphic. If you see my profile , you will notice that im ALL ABOUT graphics..lol but its a matter of taste. Being that your car has an oldschool falre to it. I think a niec custom paint job would do your ride wonders. A Bright white with some metalic in it...hard to describe..
Nice work... not fan of the color choice... but good job
Take off that ugly looking airfreshner...
sorry it smelled like paint in there so i had to get it smelling good again...so i bought something cheap...and it worked good...its starting to smell good again.
hey yo, Skoof gave me this idea...but if anyone would like there car done like me, then im willing to do this for others, im deciding on a price. Im going to put flyers around all of the local towns to see if i get any offers.
Nice job wyte. I have been working on mind to I used racing blue and stratosilver. it is coming out nice I will post some pics next week. Good job and F the haters
These are some of my leftover supplys that i used during this whole process...This is just a reference for others that would want to do this, and if anyone is interested i could possibly write a Writeup on how to do this. Interested then post it.
here is a update on what my sub enclosure and hatch area are going to look like, these are based in Paint so they arent very good Pics...
In white i am planning to have the stock panels in white, or redone in cloth. Then the Brown colored peices are planned to be made of Sub box Wood. Probably Red Carpeted. Then i will do a Custom REd Panel outlining the Hatchopening SO It will look sumn like this...
haha yeah it was fun working around doing this with her. she did a lot of whining tho, kuz i always made her prep all the peices, then i painted them all...
lol... I probably go with the cheapest mods... no money now... so yeah... 60 dollar sub from ebay (cheapest audiobahn) and then...fiberglass comes from my university... HAHAHA
resin/hardener is from school too.. so far, my trunk project had costed bout 90 bucks including speaker and exercise ball that I took the molding out of...
"You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your f------ khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world."
Does look better in the after picture but IMO white only stays nice for a short time and looks really bad once it starts to get scratched. I had a car that had the same thing done when I bought it, it looked good where it wasn't scatched but only stays that way for so long. Lots of work good job, glad you love it.
As for the subs and amps check out mine. AutoHaus in Hayward did an incredible job on installation.
u guys gotta stop arguing, if all anybody said was "that looks tight" we'd all be driving around with cardboard roof spoilers...the truth is sometimes needed.
... personally i dont care for painted interior for the fact that it WILL scratch, but dyed in that color would look awesome.
so yesterday i got really busy on my ride, and i got off vinyls, and i got all the goo left by them, then i debadged my car using the intstructions written by Isaac on this website...pics up soon...
Why are you doing all this work on a car you are tying to sell? It's not going to up the price you can ask. Even if you were putting actual aftermarket parts on it you still wouldn't make more money selling it...so, what's the score?
why is everyone f-ing with wyte if that what he likes let him do it. all this haten in the celica community needs to stop. if yo dont like it shut the fuck up. dont get mad because you dont have the imagination or drive to do something besides give negative feedback and bullshit
ok i been not on here much but now i got my Fiberglass supplies, and plan on working on door panels this weekend, and if i decide that im ready after that then im going to starting doing all my interior redone with Fiberglass, so that it will be shinier and nicer, less easy to scratch. And if that happens then im going to Get a Metallic Metal Flake RED, with a Pearl White.
