ummm...advice

make sure you sand down the surface, and then wipe it with a wet towel. Let it dry, then use some primer to cover it up, 2 or 3 layers of that, and then wipe it with some 000 Grade steel wool. After then start using your color. put 4-6 coats on to be safe. Then wetsand that. After that then Put on some layers of clearcoat to make it look really shiny.

And Tada your done

You sound like you need a girl my man.
Also don't rag on him because he doesn't like your work. If you like it thats all that matters. Its good work but its just not my style.

looks like you put a lot of work into that..looks good, but i would have chosen diff colors myself..personally i think the white is a little too much...but then again its just not my style...i gotta say though...keep up the good work, if you like it thats all that matters thumbsup

White's too bright during sunny days, but then again, it's probably the number one choice on my list to paint my car interior if I ever did just because it's something you don't see a lot on the roads. I like it, but not your exterior, don't like the decal sorry. But other than that, good job so far! All you need is a body kit to make your car stand out more on the exterior. thumbsup

actually it looks great IMO..and even more props for doing it himself. Keep in mind the interior looks outdated so obviously it wont look all flashy. its simple and im sure with a sick exterior paint job and some more work, that interior will compliment his car very nicely.

i dont mind the graphic. If you see my profile , you will notice that im ALL ABOUT graphics..lol but its a matter of taste. Being that your car has an oldschool falre to it. I think a niec custom paint job would do your ride wonders. A Bright white with some metalic in it...hard to describe..

here is a update on what my sub enclosure and hatch area are going to look like, these are based in Paint so they arent very good Pics...

In white i am planning to have the stock panels in white, or redone in cloth. Then the Brown colored peices are planned to be made of Sub box Wood. Probably Red Carpeted. Then i will do a Custom REd Panel outlining the Hatchopening SO It will look sumn like this...

and that is based off of this picture. tell me if my plan sucks or could be improved in any way

so then for the better view it will look like this

All peices carpeted.
Red will be red carpet, and White will be white carpet.

you did a good job White Fury, especially doing it yourself. Just apply yourself some more and you can do the whole car.

BTW, fuck what anyone else says negatively about your interior, first time I ever saw white on red!

Does look better in the after picture but IMO white only stays nice for a short time and looks really bad once it starts to get scratched. I had a car that had the same thing done when I bought it, it looked good where it wasn't scatched but only stays that way for so long. Lots of work good job, glad you love it.

As for the subs and amps check out mine. AutoHaus in Hayward did an incredible job on installation. thumbsup

u guys gotta stop arguing, if all anybody said was "that looks tight" we'd all be driving around with cardboard roof spoilers...the truth is sometimes needed.

... personally i dont care for painted interior for the fact that it WILL scratch, but dyed in that color would look awesome.

Why are you doing all this work on a car you are tying to sell? It's not going to up the price you can ask. Even if you were putting actual aftermarket parts on it you still wouldn't make more money selling it...so, what's the score?

ok i been not on here much but now i got my Fiberglass supplies, and plan on working on door panels this weekend, and if i decide that im ready after that then im going to starting doing all my interior redone with Fiberglass, so that it will be shinier and nicer, less easy to scratch. And if that happens then im going to Get a Metallic Metal Flake RED, with a Pearl White. thumbsup
