anyone else having this problem...it took me an hr and 15 mins to get an oil change...funny thing is my car was probably lying around for 45 mins and it only took 15 minutes to change the oil.
well if they charged you for the 45 minutes, you should get ur money back. until they dont touch ur car, they are not suppose to charge u, nomather how busy they are.
the toyota in North Hollywood...changed their price from 21 to 28 due to "raise in oil prices" funny thing is prices of gas oil is dropping in cali...anyways i need to find a better dealer i can also...
Yep a 5Qt jug of Mobile 1 Tri-Synthetic is about $20 Plus the Fram filter there another $4-7 depending on type and it costs me $3 to use the lift. So it's around $30 for me to do it myself or I can pay a few bucks more and just back drink coffee and watch TV while someone else does it.
Plus they check just about everything on the car for me.hoses, blets, tires...
I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.
takes me about 10 minutes of actual work to change the oil but then again if i take it to a dealer i probably wont hear the end of it from my dad "never take a car to the dealer bla bla bla do it your self bla bla bla i didnt teach you how to work on cars for you to take it to the dealer bla bla bla "

eman, i wouldnt recommend you going to toyota of north hollywood cz i just personally dont like them. you think their prices will be cheap cz there big dealership and are in north hollywood, but they are more expensive than glendale and other places actually. theres a good year shop in glendale that does the oil change for 13$ with tax and everything. and if you get a good year card, you can get it for 13$ from any good year shop anytime even if there is no offer
Penzoil ten minute oil changes are great! You drive in the front door & sit in your car. The bay in under the floor & they do your oil change & you can pay by debit without leaving the car. Then you exit the back door. Quick & easy!
i manage a jiffy lube and prices of oil are going up more and more. if you are paying less than $20-$25 then your feeding your car sh*t oil make sure thier using good oil with the starburst logo otherwise you could be voiding your warranty. oil change and filter at auto parts stores run on average for good quality $10-$15 (4 qts reg.oil & filter)DYI add about $10 + tax and jiffy lubes will top off all fluids (another couple bucks from auto parts stores) vacuum floors ($3-$4 more at car wash place) check tire pressure ($2-$3 at gas station air pump (if it works) hell if you add it all up + your time and travel even up to $30 bucks aint bad for 10-15 minutes (haha jiffy lube plug) but always be sure of the oil they use warranties call for 5w30 sae certified oil (pennzoil, castroil, valvaline, ect) are all good
they say smile and the whole world smiles with you;how come when i smile the whole world thinks im up to somthing<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/whatever.gif" alt="" />
