so i noticed some rough shifts and a noise while in gear. so i took my car to the dealership and found out that they are going to have to replace my transmission. but i found out it was covered under warranty. i have a 60k powertrain warranty and my mileage is at 58k right now...so i got really lucky...or else that'd be a whole lot of money. just thought i would share...thank you for your time.

cool. but any reason why tranny messed up? do you race with the car often, shift quick?

been there done that, only i was at about 14,000, and they wernt gonna cover mine, but ended up coming around in the end.

cool. but any reason why tranny messed up? do you race with the car often, shift quick? lol...yeah i race in my gt. theres actually no known reason as to why it would mess up. it was fine all weekend when i was Import and Truck Bash in Indianapolis. then i drove 300 miles back home and the next day i heard noises and it felt funny. so i took it in the following day.

i noticed a lot of posts 'bout transmission replacements over time, i had mine replaced too, but at 29k...
interesting, i don't recall any tsb's or factory recalls concerning defective equipment or anything though...
hmmmm...
