The following 10 TIPS are provided by the California Highway Patrol to help you act now to prevent vehicle theft. Always . . .1. Always lock your vehicle. 2. Always utilize anti-theft devices. 3. Always park your vehicle in a well-lighted area at night. 4. Always make sure you receive an ownership certificate when purchasing a used vehicle. Control the Situation . . .5. Never leave your keys in your vehicle. 6. Never hide a spare ignition key on the vehicle. Theft Protection . . .7. Install an audible alarm system. 8. When possible, park your vehicle in a secure garage. 9. Beware of your surroundings prior to leaving your vehicle. 10. Beware of high theft vehicles. actually my father one time, after his car had been broken into 4 times in a month at his work (it was a bad neighborhood, put a big ribbon tied present package in his back seat and left it there. Sure enough someone broke in and stole it. Inside he had placed a nice copperhead snake

after my break in...i'm installing pain sirens =) what are those? its a siren that you put INSIDE the cabin of the car...but instead of a normal alert noise or whatever, it emits a VERY loud high pitched sound...wires up with your alarm. If anyone is gonna try to steal my shit again by smashing a window or sth...they will fucking earn their keep. sorry just writing about this makes me angry again...
