If you download the video's from www.c2power.com [c2power.com] (bottom of THE GALLERY section) you can see their lambo doors in action. Enjoy how the doors barely seem to be able to lift themselves, and how they sway when open.

Looks terrible. Turned me off lambo doors.

If they've upgraded, they really should delete the video's that make the kit seem like it's a total piece of shit. and better shocks still doesn't help the problem with the doors swaying when full open. and they're swaying inside a hall, where there's no wind. What happens if you open your door, and there's a strong side wind? *crack* and the door falls off?

Maybe this is why no sites have video's of their doors in action? they all suck donkey balls? hm?

hmm good point.. what about wind factor frown

perhaps the best way is going all out for a true lambo conversion confused which indeed would cost a lot.. but if done right should be just as good as a real lamborghini door?? right ?? confused

Wind factor, and opening straight is also upgraded, look at the MR2 video, we don't have a celica whit lambos to make any more vids, but felow forum mambers will be glad to post pictures and videos! grin

http://www.c2design.hu/celica/mr2lambo/MOV02164.MPG

How much you have to open the door before it goes up is nothing to do whit the hinge design, it depends on how thick the door panels are.

How hard the door goes up...the harder it lifts, the harder it is to close, so you really have to find the best solution to help you open it, but it won't be too hard to close it. This time we got it perfectly, and the new doors are selling whit different Gas springs

Please don't start to bash products until you have personal experience. wave

We have a few of these allready in the states, and we can ship it from Miami for 950+ship any day, let me know!

If the vcd kit has been upgraded, remove the video's! The statements made about the vcd kit are purely observations made from watching those video's. It's not about trying to bash anyone's product. I love what c2power is doing for the celica! But those video's gives the impression that you're selling low quality products. Which won't help your business at all.
