So anyway, i thought lift was feeling a little weak. I pulled the valve cover off, and sure enough the front lift bolt is broken. My car is at 60,800 miles so i dont know if its going to be fixed under warranty. The dealership is supposed to let me know tommorrow. If they dont, ill probably attempt it myself. Has anyone else ever attempted the full TSB??? If so let me know. Thanks.

He's talking about extracting a broken lift bolt.

If you want to attempt the TSB, then go for it, as long as you can put everything back together. Also, give your self a few days, just in case you can't get your car up and running again.

If the bolt doesn't come out when you remove the cam shaft, then you will need to have it taken out by a pro. I highly recommend that you do not attempt to drill it out yourself, because one slip, and your shaft is toast.
