Im thinking of gettin flame throwers for my car will that mess anything up?

It may melt the rear bumper, doesn't sound like a very good idea to me.

It may burn up your whole car..but that's ok.

am I the only one here that finds this to be...really interesting, i mean it's FLAME THROWERS, not decals or simple stuff

but maybe you can put a heat sheild on the bumper and paint it to match the car

its not going to work on our cars, its preferably for carburated engines, well for EFI, it may work but you have to take the CAT CONVERTER out and get a straight pipe, i already have this, it did not work since my cat converter is still there

my friend says that theres like a ring that goes into your exhaust tip to make it spark and then combust into fire

its basicly like a spark plug.

i don't know if i'd do that, seems kind of weird to me

cmon do you know the reaction you would get if someone saw your car at a light and there were flames coming out of the back of it i dont thinkk its weird

wat is the point of having a fireball coming out of ur exhaust if you aint turbo ed.. from wat i understand the fireballs are due to detonation in the exhaust coming from the turbo or something .. if i saw a na car with that.. i woudl consider that rice.. knda like a fake purge kit

i read somewhere its where uncombusted petrol enters the exhaust system and is ignited.

i saw it on a tv show don't remember which one. it was on a truck and he bought a kit that would cut of the ignition so that raw fuel would go through the exhaust and then at the end of the tail pipe he had a coil and spark plug which ignited the unburned fuel and made the flame. but running unburned fuel though you engine can mess it up
it is cool, but i don't think it would be worth it

I would laugh my ass of call him a fuckin ricer and floor it outta there. Also that is highly illegal. And you guys are right its a spark plug that sits in the end of you muffler that ignites all the unused fuel. It drains the battery though.


And if your goin to compare it to something compare it to the batmobile not those fake cars from 2f2f

I agree. Flaming exhausts might look all right on a high-priced exotic. I think most people would just laugh at you if you put one on a four-banger.

hey it's because of fast and furious that i'm here right now...because I was always interested in cars but fast and furious really opened me to the import scene so yea

I was kinda inspired by Fast and Furious to look into making a cool car but thats where it stopped. Now that I look back its stupid as hell. Those movies are so fake in everyway.

well, you're talking about shooting a friggin ball of fire out your back end. there is no way that you can do this without risking the exterior or internals of the car.

The Fast and the Furious didn't start flame-throwers.That started back in the late 50's with HotRods.I wish Hollywood never made The Fast and the Furious

Fast and the Furious is not the problem. It is simply a movie, and should be thought as such. What happens in movies should not be taken seriously, or else more of us would go jumping off bridges during races just to see if we would make it!!! I personally thought it was a fun movie, and only sees a problem when the ricers who see the movie gets so wet that they hop in their cars and race themselves into a wall and take some innocent bystanders with them.

seriously though. fast and the furious was interesting to me when i knew nothing about cars (not like i know that much more now) but i watched it and labeled it yet another hollywood movie and left it alone after that. when i saw 2f2f, and the skyline in the beginning.. that's when it started to peak my interest. i wanted a fast car and mod it up and shit like that. .. but because of those movies, i am now here. without those movies i would've probably gotten a civic or something really really gay.

so yes the movies brought me here. but after coming here, i look back at the movies and laugh at the stupidities.

my future car is going to have flame throwers, fireballs, smoke exhausts, turret guns, grappling hoooks, strippers , oil slicks, landmines, nukes, etc.

Gotta love the stripper cars!
