cool, I was deciding whether to get the TRD Extended exhaust, the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion or the Greddy Evo cat back.

After comparing prices and numbers, I ordered the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion thumbsup

My brother has Tanabe Racing Medalion on his civic, it is sweet thumbsup , I had Greddy on my 97 Honda Predlude type SH...I loved the Greddy man, deep sound, not to loud, not to quiet...Perfect. If anybody has any pictures of the Greddy please give me a link or something.

thanks grin

it's not cat back. it's axle back the only cat back would be the kazuma, even the Veilside doesn't extend to the cat so it's considered axle as well

That sucks man, The picture when I ordered was cat back, Greddy for every car I know of has always been cat back!

http://www.greddy.com/products/exhaust_frame.htm

even says, and I quote

"All GReddy exhaust systems (SP, PE, MX, EVO, & G2) are complete cat-back units, which do not effect emissions related hardware."

I looked under the car and noticed that the only sections that unbolt are at the rear axle, and at the header [Mad]

I'm pissed, I know it will sound good and it will perform...but I wish it bolted right at the cat... hence... (cat back exhaust)

Oh well

thanks for repling

I still would like pictures thumbsup

that is weird huh?? On the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion box it says cat back exhaust... but it bolts on near where the rear axle would be if we had a rear axle. So either the manufacturers are lying by telling us their exhaust systems are cat back or our exhaust systems are cat back but should be called "FAR BEHIND CAT" spineyes thumbsup

You have to have the muffler lowered. It will burn the rear valence if you don't.
