Okay, so I was considering selling my AEM CAI and getting the TPR CAI cause of the damn CEL light I always get. I just failed inspection AGIAN cause the CEL light was on this time. So now my question is this; Will the TPR CAI pass inspection? I'm not sure if they check if it's carb legal.

pull into the parking lot next to the inspection place, and pull behind the shopping center and reset your ecu. Then keep it in low rpm and pull into the inspection place...you should be alright as long as you don't gun it. I live in GA, and we just have to pass the sniffer test, no visual inspection here

TPR has the better design so that the MAF reads the temperature correctly.

therefore, TPR> AEM and Injen

CELs for gen 1 aem Intake are the norm. the current version...gen 2 was made so that there would not be cels. many people have the aem gen 2 without any problems when installed right. even if you folow directions you have to make sure if there are no leaks, hoses left unplugged..etc.

if you really want ot get rid of it...give it to me! grin rofl

dude, when you reset ur ecu, you should give it 3 days to take it to inspection or else they wont do it. order the tpr, put ur stock air box in there, wait for 3 days, take it for inspection, and then ull get the Intake cz they dont have ready Intakes yet to be sold.

dawg either your hoses are all fucked up and you did not plug that whole in the Intake manifold or your car needs to be looked at. have you taken it to pep boys or autozone for an ecu readout
