I was wondering, how fast is the Celica suppose to start when you start up the ignition by turning the keys?
I do not feel like a fast start up. Is it the battery or something?
What kind of suggestions do you guys have to make my start up better?

it's not supposed to be fast, they are all slow.
if you want a faster start, get a new batt and the mods above.

Not really, I am comparing it to my GT and the GT Auto starts faster. And it feels a lot better when I turn on the ignition.
The GTS feels like it is dying or loose or something.
And what is MSD?

The GTS starts slower than the GT.
I forget the technical reason why, but, it is.
You might need a new battery, your spark plugs could be shot, any number of things.

O okay. Did not know that the GTS starts slower.
I am getting some new grounding cables to see if that helps.

And what is MSD? MSD is an aftermarket ignition system that puts more volts into your plugs on the initial cold startup fire (Turn the key). Also it pumps out a higher voltage shot to the plugs when you are driving a car that has the fuel injectors, throttle body, just about everything else modified so it can fire smoothly with the rest of the system.

And what is MSD? MSD It's that stuff that Koreans used to put in food to make it take better. But the FDA found out it was bad for you.
I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

so does mine... but i had this same problem with my 97 camry. It had the stock battery in it. Was a POS, the first sign of it giving out was that it wouldnt turn over. Then my headlights were very dim. I took it to "Sears Auto" and they tested it and it was determined that the battery wasnt giving enough juice and the cells were weak and one of the battery cells were dead on the stock toyota battery. So I told him to put in a "Die Hard Gold" battery and my camry started up hella quick and i noticed a bit a power difference in the car such as the head lights, and the dome light, and the A/C lights, and the Speedomter lights were really really GREEN!

GTS starts slower because it has higher compression.

7th gen starters have replaceable electrodes. I had mine done & it cost me about $30 & my car turns over way faster.
Last fall I also put a fresh battery in & made up an extra thick ground strap to the motor for extra measure.
