For those of you that have a moon roof, you know that when it is open and U turn off ur car it automatically closes. Well, mine this morning didn't want to close on its own. I had to turn on the car battery and close it. All it did when it tried to close on its own was slide to the tilt postion and then slide back to the end of the rack and then try to close itself again. I got home and noticed that the moon roof on the passenger side is able to slide forward and backward, causing to missalign and jam. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem and prevent it from sliding out of position? I remember reading a similar post, and some1 saying something about a screw that can be tightened, but I can't find the THREAD. PLEASE HELP!

i think what he means is when you turn your car off before you open the doors the circut stays connected so you can close your windows if you forget to and all you have to do is push the close button once and it does the rest for you. as for fixing the off track problem i have no idea...maybe try to tighten some screws on the loose side but make sure you align it before you do! if that doesnt help...LOOK FOR THE THREAD! LOL thumbsup

How the hell are we supposed to help when you obviously have an aftermarket moon roof? Take it to the place where it was done at, they usually give you at least a 5 year warranty.

Ya, we have like 45 seconds to close our moonroof after we turn the car off. Is that what he's talking about?

I think he realy wants help on a jammed moonroof. Maybe he was misstaken about the power cut off to the moonroof (works for 43 secs.). after ingnition is off and tried to close it. Since I have the owners manual already handy the moonroof stops and opens half way if something gets caught between the moon roof and frame. It's a jam protection function much like an automatic garage door. I don't know on how to fix it if there is no debris in the way. Sorry and good luck.

I just have to ask a dumb ass question: Moon roof? What is that? Is that the same as a sun roof, but it only opens at night, or wtf?
