Too bad our cars are discontinued "for now". Hopefully it will come back in the near future. I just post this thread to say that I lOVE THIS CAR, no matter how many haters there are out there. Celica rules.

hell yeah Celicas will live on, fuck them haters, and if it comes back they will be more powerful then ever, dont worry sooner or later, there will be some imports, will see 06 Celicas somewere, because they are still working on a new model in Japan, the Celica is only band from the US, because the US is gay, fucking dumb shit, we miss out on everything

My first celica was an '86 and i remember selling it. It was the best car i had owned. A guy came over and looked at my car and i was solid on 3000$ for it. He said i'll give you 2500 i said nope, 3000. He said ok 2800 i said no way man 3000. He said ok 3000. After he signed over the check to me he said "This must be a good car and i wouldnt have bought it if you went down on the price". I said hell ya its a good car and it IS worth 3000$. He gave it to his kid and i saw his kid screaming by in my house a few times in it. Put a big smile on my face. My 2000 GT is my 2nd celica and i love it. Ive owned preludes and other cars but you just dont feel like you're driving a quality car until youre in the celica. Sucks they're getting rid of it. The Scion i dont think will ever be as good as the Celica.

Celicas rule

the celicas gives a nice impression. there was one time me n my boy was drivin down a road n a lil kid, bout 5 yrs old, point at the car n laughed n smiled. it was so cute.

In 18 months we'll be seeing a new Celica. Shame you won't! Celica goes on...but only in countries worthy of it!!!

this is one of the few times I would agree with you The US sucks in terms of cars from japan and other countries.

I heard Skylines that cost like 10-15 grand were being sold in the US for 70-80 grand.

its because of the cost to impot it to the US and the cost to legalize it

skyline costs 25,000$ in japan for GTR34 version.
If you get GTS or lower version, it is around 16000-22000$.
Cars are cheaper there, but only thing that cost lot is the tax and import taxes you have to pay when you ship yourcar here. which is around 5000-10000$
GTR doesn't cost 90g's Its around 35000$ in US. Check motoRex, they sell skylines

Where did He dig that up from? Actually the Celica has been around since 1970 and it will prolly be released after 2005 everywhere but here in the U.S.

We should all import the new Celica when it comes out! Let's start saving our money!

apparently they are moving most of there "sports car" line to scion?? thats what I have heard anyways. But there have been romurs of the supra comming back.. but who knows

once the last line of celicas are done with, it would raise the resale value of the celica, right.

if so, then if the supra was going to make a come back, that too would lower the resale value of the 1996-1997s right?

if this goes accoring to plan, i can prolly trade in my celica for a supra for a better cost.

I dont know about everyone else but i hate those scions. All three of them, especially the box on wheels.
