I bought the car used and unistalled the amp - now the speakers dont work

You need to reconnect the speaker wires back to the cdplayer wiring harness. Mostly likely the installer tapped into the speaker wires from the back of the head unit and ran them to the amp. If you no longer have the amp you need to reconnect the speaker wires from the cars wiring harness to the cdplayers harness. Hope that makes sense, if not take it to a audio shop and they can fix it.
