Has anyone heard this subwoofer in person? I was thinking of getting one, but I dont know how it sounds.

I personaly opt for the Pheonix Gold Titanium series(12'', two of them) and a Phoenix Gold amp(Tandrum 500.2) and it's AMAZING!!!! You want bass, I got it

I like the Infinity subs...I never heard those though.

never seen anyone with those but they should be a good buy. i got a new sub,amp, and head unit. yah you could feel the thump and the bump. the subs a pioneer 12" and the amp is a blast. the head unit is alpine. i dont know if its all about the sub or amp but in my head unit i have a button that i just press and the thump gets louder and louder and its already loud to begin with.

if you want sound quality and reliability of it not blowing i wpuld go with alpine, phoenix gold, or jl audio. the most important thing is making sure you have enuf amp to push ur subs.
