Can someone please explain what the meaning "lift" means? thanks prolly a stupid question but I cannot find any info on here?? thanks ...

i just learned this too, im a noob. lift is basically something that is built into the gts engines that gives you an added kick once you hit 6k rpm. its a boost of 40hp. fun fun. 
No need for caffeine.
