Should be around 37 ft/lbs.
Just tighten it as much as you can with your hand with a socket wrench, and it should be enough.

cool, yeah i don't wanna mess up the head though. my last car was an eagle talon and in 90K it needed 4 head gaskets...4th at 90k i sold it. so im VERY worried. anyone know about the years for the DC sports headers that are applicable? because i herd they didn't fit all years. wondering if the 00 works? i got them in my bed room and i wanna put it in!

Hmmm, I thought they fit all years due to the fact that the car didn't really change down there through the years, except for the drive by wire, but I don't think that would matter.
Bump.

i have a 00 GTS and i have DC Header on, it fit perfect, also very easy to get the old header out and put the new one in, but you have to take out ur exhaust pipe to have more room, just a lil hint, but if i was you i would wait for TPR to relice there header, i havent hurt that much good things about dc header, or wait till i get my car dynod and see if wat pplz are saying its true, i heard they only gave 3whp gain, NOT GOOD

i have the header in my room, didn't you have to remove the top of the engine to get the header out? thats what the instructions say and it doesn't look like you can pull it out the bottom.

i heard they only gave 3whp gain, NOT GOOD it made 3whp on an already modded gts with Intake, exhaust, and PFC. the more mods you do the less you gain from the current one. how bout you dyno a stock gts with a dc header one. no one has done that yet (lucky317 has dynoed the prototype and not the mass production version)
