Damn i got another freaking ticket. this is my 2 speedy ticket in less than a month. the first 1 was $70 and this one is $120. Man 1 more and i get my license suspended. Wut can i do? I think im gonna have to change my car. it's the colore (red). or the police just don't like celicas??? Im gonna have to trade my car for somethins nah too fast? wutcha people think. I need some help...

That way, no points, no increase in insurance, and no one will ever have to know about it.

Just go to a traffic law center, or ask around and see if anyone knows a lawyer that will do it for ya. It will cost you $50 or so (wouldn't pay more than that).

I've had 4 speeding tickets so far, and got them all fixed.

You aren't getting pulled over because you car is red, you're getting pulled over becuase you're going too fast.

Ask your friends/family how they get theirs fixed or who they use. Hopefully they can refer you to a lawer that does this on the side. Usually, all the lawyer has to do is put in a few phone calls.

I get mine fixed for free, but used to pay $30.

If you don't know of a lawyer that can do it, then look in the phone book for something like a "traffic law center" or just look in the phone book for a lawyer that deals with traffic law, and call around and ask them how much they charge.

If you go to a traffic law place to have it done, it can cost as much as $99 for lawyer fees.



Once you find someone to fix it for you, you will pay them their fee (whatever they charge you to fix it). They will take the ticket from you and take care of it for you.

Just give it to them at least a week before the court date on the ticket.

Once you give the ticket to the lawyer, they will take care of everything. They will ever appear in court for you, and you don't have to show up (this happens 95% of the time, unless you have a very serious offense).

About 2 weeks or so after the court date, you will get something in the mail from the lawyer stating what the ticket got changed to (they change it to a non-moving violation such as illegal parking or noise disturbance or some bullshit like that), and they will also tell you how much you owe to the court.

Then, all you have to do is mail the court your money and you are all done!



Keeps your record squeaky clean, no points, no insurance increase.

TIP TO SPEEDERS:

Cops are out in force at the last 2 weeks of all months to catch up on quota's. I just passed 3 cops with a laser down the road, so don't tell me im wrong. Also un-marked cars are out too.

Police do not have quotas to fill. I don't know if it used to be that way, but it isn't now. How do I know? Both of my cousins are police officers. My 2nd cousin has just graduated training and is now an officer. Except all she does is give out parking tickets.

Here in Ontario, officers are required to have a minimum number of speeding tickets issued.

Sancho.. I'm with ya there.. but I have noticed certain times of the month where there are more cops in certain areas.. do they tend to rotate where they set up the speed traps? or is it just coincidence they pick certain streets at certain times?

I think by the end of each month they have to have certain % of tickets. That's y they r eveeywhere.

no i juss think all cops have their bad days and the department juss screws wit dem... they juss get pissed and hand out tickets to make people suffer... drive slower, ive never gotten a ticket before so i duno how that works, good luck

botton line, dont fucking speed and you wont get pulled over, y speed, to show off and act like ur car is the fastest in the road, plain fucking stupid, hope it works out and i hope you learned from ur lesson, i got 2 tickets and i stop speeding, i have comon sence, you should have it 2, not trying to be mean, or look like an ass but its the sad true, just dont speed, and if you really want to get an adrenalin rush take it to the track

To get the ticket reduced, check off the "innocent" box on the summons. They will give you a court date. You will show up on that date (might have to wait hours for your docket to be called) and the officer will not. At this point, they are typically in a position to negotiate the infraction downward if you articulate your case, i.e. the radar gun was inaccurate, you were in heavy traffic and got picked out, etc. If it was a back road and you were flying at 30mph over the limit for instance, you have no leverage for compromise.

I have to agree with silver and everyone else: you won't have this problem if you followed the speed limit.

as for lots of cops lately...it could be that Labor Day weekend is here and the cops are stepping up enforcement in anticipation.

If you have a problem with speeding put a little note on the dash that says "abuse cruise control" Use cruise control to keep from going over the speed limit...I have the same problem with speeding, and use cruise control to keep from getting in trouble
