A year and a half before I bought my Celica, I bought a little red die-cast Celica off eBay and kept it on my dresser...i don't know where the hell it is now but the point is, if you want something bad enough and work for it, anything is possible

im even worst than you are. i bought the celica, returned it in a day, and there is NO WAY i can get the car back. ive spent the last four years thinking about it, last 1 year saving the living shit out of the money, and more than a year researching the living shit out of the car. i just cant believe i had the car for one day and now i dont have it eventhough i want it. fuckin paperworks and fuckin company that sells the car doesnt know shit. everyone says something else.
if you are depressed that you cant get the celica, well i was in ur shoes and saving money, i got it for a day and returned it. do you know how fucked up that feels?
not only that, im still trying my best to get the car back, but its not really in my hands, everything that im trying its not working out. i guess a celica is not meant to be mine. somtimes i wish i never knew about the car so i wouldnt fall in love with it!
just wish me luck guys cz this shit is getting more and more annoying, i dont have my car and i dont have my 8000$

i worked for my baby..i've been wanting since it came out..got me a job at 17...worked hard so i can get a raised for 2 years..finally had da paycheck to pay..got my granny to co sign and now its all mine...just work and wait...

VERY long story.
basically i got the car under my name and cosigned by someone. well the problem is that i shouldnt get it under my name cz the insurance is gonna be too high (460$ a month, i got no tickets). everything was planned that the car was gonna be insured under my moms name primary and i was gonna be a secondary so my insurance will be cheaper (150$ a month). so i returned the car in a day and then the new problem is that the dealership cannot refinance someone with the same last name, they cant put two peoples name as owner of vehicle, neither they can do an easy transfer. now i have to find a credit union to do the financing with. the dealership has cashed my 8000$ down and i have to wait for it in the mail which will take 2-4 weeks. so overall, its very shitty, especially its labor day weekend so the banks closed for the following few days, dealerships open, my moneys in process to be returned. plain mess. i just hope that i can know if im gonna get the car or not so ill be over it a minute earlier. if i dont get this celica, im not gonna look for one anymore. i guess i either got no luck or natures trying to keep me away from a celica.
this is the briefest i can explain, it actually is way messier than this. everyone at the dealership says something else, and im sick of that shit too. dealerships 40 minutes away from me, i goto school mornings, work afternoons, come home at 10, parents work morning. so basically theres no time for us to arrange this shit and get it a day early.

If you want one that badly go to the local police auctions find a celica and buy if from there. reason i say this is becuase i saw a 2000 GTS with 2k miles sell for 6gs. reason is was auctioned was because it was a stolen recovery so it was a salvaged title. but then again you can get the title cleared if you fix it and restore it and pass the dmv inspection.

also saw a gsr integra sell for 2k damn!!!!

Go to the junk yard find a rolled over celica with no frame damage. chop the roof off and BAM! 7th gen convertable. just get a roll bar for the rear and youll be ok. just got to save at least 6k for a payment.

or you can just go to your local toyota dealer...and ask them to let you test drive one.
