cool but do you know the stock specs of the stero. im espically want to know the watts. the headunit i want produces 19RMS and 50max. I know the rms is kinda low but what is stock?

If you have a gt I would guess the deck puts out around 10-15 watts RMS per channel, you will notice an improvement with any aftermarket deck. The GTS amp puts out maybe 20-30 watts RMS.

one thing for sure, a decent aftermarket HU will always be greater than stock HU...

I know this isn't answering your question...but I would go with alpine...i just installed mine this week (can send you pics if you want..its a 9813) and well there's a reason alpine's slogan is "clarity by alpine". Man this thing is nice and 60w x 4 peak power...and when it's on it definitely doesn't look plain.
