Got a lot of grief about the first pix - with the white wing on the spectra blue celi. So here a few with some of the latest mods showing you where I'm going with my personal vision.
From the front.

I've ordered some Wings West skirts to replace stock and have a new grill I need to install. Also, I painted the engine and will take some pics tomorrow before the hurricane gets up this way.

Dude your front stripes are NOt strait... Just so you know. If you r talking about the bottom two, I know it. I'm debating to straighten or take off those two completely. But I appreciate it - when I have asked others, nobody else has noticed it. Guess they were too much in shock.

i think if you did the entire top of the car white...that includes the hood, roof, and hatch...i think it would look pretty sweet. but it seems the white sticks out too much. also i think the white would look better if it had metallic flakes that kinda matched the flakes in the blue.

you should do the little stuff in white and big stuff in blue, like the mirrors, door handels, and other shite white, and the rest blue, plus you should get a flag stamped on ur roof@!!

That's cool -- I have been thinking about the roof and maybe hatch. Blue flakes sound interesting.

My suggestions: Have your S2K ant. painted either blue or black (I would go black) Either add some white stripe decal to the side of your car, or have the skirts painted blue to match. (stripes of a similar style to what you have on the hood). Put something on the top that's white.. Don't paint the whole thing, but add some stripe, or design, or something, so everything blends, and the top doesn't seem to dark (which makes the other white parts look funny... They stand out too much, I think). Same with the spoiler. Paint it blue, and find some sort of white designs to put on it. (again, something like a continuation of the stripes would be just fine.) And finally, you could look in to having the "CELICA" that's on the hatch overlayed in white. I know, it would take time and money to do these things, I'm just giving suggestions, not telling you you have to do it or anything I think it's unique, and from the front end, I think it's pretty cool. The rest is OK, and could be cool with a few modifications, in my view. Of course, if that's the way you like it, keep it that way! If you own her, it's all about you

Definitely unique... If you are considering taking off those two side graphic...whatever you want to call them...i would leave them off and replace it with the single stripe down the middle in front of the scoop...and maybe like other guys said follow out the theme of white more from the hoodline up. I would paint your new sideskirts to match your body color... go to www.vizages.com [ vizages.com] and look up the celica they feature their jp body kit on. If you are going to go with two colors i would mimick that one...that one is sweet!

Someone who has something useful to say other than "yecch!" I've got the same design to put on the sides already, so I'm glad you think it would be a good idea. Also - I bought some overlays in white for the "CELICA," but the quality (size) sucked, so I have ordered the stainless steel. What can I say - I like the white spoiler - but I will give some thought to what you are saying. I still have the original blue spoiler. So I could play with it and try some things out. I've got the S2K in black and blue already - I still like the white though. I'm glad you like the front end - I am most pleased with how that turned out. It was a side stripe originally that I had shrunk for the front. Bottom line - I ain't done yet. I'm happy with the way it's going and may reverse some of the changes. I just love that the celi is such a great canvas to begin with! Such a shame that they are stopping production.

I'm waiting on some WW skirts, though, so I prolly won't go OEM color - but will try a Fusion dark blue. As far as the front center line - I could POSSIBLY see adding it - but I'm not taking off the design. I'm not interested in looking like every other celica out there. This one is mine. Still - I may try some white up top.

50/50 is a no/no...
like celicaracer05 was pointing at, go with the main scheme of blue with white accent pieces...

e I think celicaracer05 was joking - but I have seriously thought about white Bomex mirrors. I do think I want to get rid of the white skirts, though. I don't think they really work. But I'm still hoping the side stripes will.

Ok her is my two cents. Maybe not so much white on the spoiler. Personally I like the two color thing, but to much of the accent color can kill it. Maybe a spec blue spoiler with some white highligts.Like the pillars that connects it to the car. If you get rid of the hood grphics I would then go with a white hood stripe instead, then paint your side mirrors white also. Not so sure about the chrome tails with the white. Oh and where did you get the clear bumper lights I have been wanting to get some of those ~Alex

Not so sure about the chrome tails with the white. Thinking about painting white inside. Oh and where did you get the clear bumper lights I have been wanting to get some of those ~Alex Right here in the Celica store - although they are probably available on ebay. Here's the link in the store:https://celicahobby.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=180 Doc

Nice hood graphics where did you order them from It's a side graphic originally - I got it from Decalkits.com. I got them to size it for the hood and stack it with the side graphic when they cut it, then separated it when I received it. I don't remember the size I told them offhand, but I'll see if I can find the info. They may have kept the graphic they did for me on file. I'll call to find out and let you know. I think they are expensive, but when I wasn't happy with the first graphic I got from them, they paid to have it returned and did something entirely different for me. I had to bug them to get things done in a timely fashion - but they do try to satisfy you. In any case - thanks - I'm happy with how the design works on the hood.
