So, I bought my '04 last November, and have managed to keep it compltetly damage free! Not even one door ding (my parking karma sometimes isn't so good and I end up walking far distances, but it's worth it!)...
So, the other night, me and the lady are on our way to dinner...cruising at about 85 on the 805 Northbound...when I see this little glint in front of me...no where to go, with a semi on my left, and Jersey bouncers on my right, and a car on my ass...BOOM! I don't know what in the hell I hit, but I felt it all the way under my car...
Finally I make it to our destinantion, and discover that whatever I hit...hit my spoiler and damn near destroyed my mesh screen in the spoiler! Ohhhh, I was pissed! The weird thing is that it was tall enough to push in the screen, and drag under the car, but didn't chip the paint or cut into the plastic of the body kit...hmmm...strange...
Not a lot of damage, I'll have to buy a new screen...but it still sucks! Brand new car and all...
anyways...I'm done bitching...just bored at work when I should be at the Labor Day meet in SD...

i also hit something with my celica one time and it scratched the bottom of my VS2 front diffuser..so gay

Damn that sucks to hear. When i had my celi i had to dodge a plastic dog house that fell out of a truck on the hwy.

ran over a piece of sheetmetal last night. no clue why or how it got there, and it looked like an innocent piece of paper, and when I drove over it made a very loud sound. I could've sworn it had torn something off my car...

damn that sucks...i also hit something on the freeway, it cracked my stock front lip.

Ouch, sucks to hear. Know how that is though. I hit one of those semi tires that have blown out. It was just laying in the middle of the interstate and I nailed it (luckily my front bumper was already broken, but it did put a hole in my condensor). Oh, word to the wise. If you ever have to replace your condensor, get it directly from Denso. It's like $400 cheaper than getting it from toyota. Glad you're ok though.
