dude, do not drive ever again. Wrecking your car is not minor in my opinion. Im 21 and never hit a single car and nobody has hit me (knock on wood). Sounds like you need a shitty car to start out with.

I would rather back up and fill in 5-6 times and make a complete ass of myself doing it then try to fit in the first time and get so much as the smallest scratch on my car.

You're lucky your dad doesn't revoke your driving priveleges...my dad would've. I hope your more careful from now on.

Only 2 accidents? Geeze!

I have been driving with my foot in the oil pan for 15+ years, I drive 60,000+ KM every year, I have a rap sheet nearly 4 pages long (mostly speeding) & I still have never been in an accident.

Take some defensive driving lessons & maybe some professional driving lessons. These things aren't toys, you could cost someone their life.

you're dad is just playin with you...trust me, he's going to tear your fucking soul out while you are sleeping. then i'm going to take what's left and bring it to the DMV so they can use it to scare the shit out of n00b drivers who are stupid enough to hit their dad's truck (which i can only assume was stationary)

dude, 2 accidents when ur 16 is ALOT. yea theyre just minor ones, but maybe these little ones are trying to tell you something. i would first get rid of the celica for a good 6 months and practice driving on a cheaper car, cause the celica is not the easiest car to drive and you dont have a good view of all around you in the car, get a camry or a corolla, these things are the easiest stuff you can drive. take some driving instructions, they will help. learn how to judge, do things slowly and nicely instead of rushing it and hitting others. plus its parking and ur dads car is right in front of you and its at home, uve been there like 200 times. basically you dont have good judgement, and you need practice, and take it seriously. same shit happening twice you should be serious now and you dont seem like it. learn from it and try to avoid it.

So...there are these things on the car called mirrors, they assist you in backing up as well as seeing if that cop you just passed doing 110 is turning around or not. Just kidding kid, but my suggestion would be if you have problems backing out of tight spaces than don't park in tight spaces.

You wrecked it again?

You're 16 and you've already ruined your car twice!!!

You need to watch where you're going! Any more shit like that and you don't deserve to have a lisence.

only accident i've been in is after was the day after a party i had at my house, i woke up late and still had to clean up the house and wake up all the people and send them home (the people that were too drunk to make it home) and then get to the airport by 10am to pick up my parents from the airport, they had just come back from a trip to Alaska.

...man i was in a hurry in the fast lane when the fuckin van that cant fit in the space between me and the car infront of me (travling at about 80mph) jams in and i slam on my breaks but it was too late and i hit him, even then going that fast on the freeway it was only bumper damage on both cars, and the guy must not of had his greencard because when i called him he was like, oh dont worry about it (in an islamic tone) i can pay for it myself, so i didnt take a hit on insurance because i never heard of him again and i paid cash to fix my moms car.

...^^ the reason i hate ABS

What did ABS do? It should decrease your stopping distance...without ABS you could lock your brakes and and skid right into him.

Only time I've heard ABS could cause an accident is if you're taking a turn too fast in an SUV and it's about to flip; pressing the brake to slow down will not lock the brakes and so the tires will keep their grip and you'll flip.

That's a misconception. ABS will only decrease your stopping distance compared to a full lock up. If you actually know how to drive, ABS is a huge disadvantage when stopping. thumbsdown

seriously, if you can't see that huge truck, it's scarry to think if you'd even notice kids who sometimes play in the street

seriously ,get a firefly or something that's cheap/better field of view

also get some driving lessons before you kill someone

I've wrecked plenty of cars when I was young. Sure they were beaters for 75% of my early driving. There's a reason to that. I would never wreck a Celica even once. Thank God my parents never bought me a car or even a nice car. Accidents don't happen twice, they are caused by ignorance, stupidity, and inexperience. Hence one of my first posts on this site about young drivers. If you can find it post it.

rofl 16 "and only 2 accidents" How many times do you think everyone else gets in accidents? 20!? haha.. seriously.. 1 accident is a lot.. even if its "just backing up" and in a "safe" situation.. its still a dumb reason.. the safer the situation the less chance there should be for accident.. go buy a beater car and crash that into everything before you step another foot into the celi.
