Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior TRD Exhaust Question

Im planning on purchasing a TRD exhaust for my 2002 gts. I read someone elses forum and got a pretty good site for parts. www.etoyotas.com [etoyotas.com], which brings me to my question. The guy said he got his exhaust for $485 plus shipping. i go to the site ( http://www.etoyotas.com/TRD/celicadat.cgi ) and find the exhaust, and there it is, "Standard Length Exhaust for GTS" - 485 dollars. Then right below it, there is an item called "Extended Exhaust use w/Rear Valence (GTS)" for $503. What is the difference between these 2 and which one should i buy? ive asked arround and no one seems to have any idea. My thoughts are go for the standard version because that is what the other guy bought and ended up loving it. Id hate to order it and find out its the wrong one. Please help me out guys!

the extended and standard TRD exhausts are the same in performance, it's just that the extended version is use with the action package rear valence because the standard is not long enough to be seen

ok i dont want/have the action package, but lets say i want the blitz complete body kit (because i do and i plan on buying it soon) would i need the extended kit? i doesnt seem like there would be THAT much a difference in length.

If you're adding a bodykit, then go with the extended one. The extended one will look good with stock bumper also. Go to the Gallery and search "exhaust". There are pics showing the extended with and without bodykit.
