I am thinking about painting my plastics under my hood, my car is silver, and my Intake is silver? what color do you guys think would be the best color to paint it? i dont feel like silver because there is already to much, i was thinking of the red color on my 'gts' sign, what do you guys think?

Since no silver I would go red and paint your calipers red too.

Silver goes with any color. I say pick something no one has and go for it. I mean, there might be some colors to skip, like most pastels. But then again, if thats what you like, go for it. I'm saying ORANGE. Go bright ORANGE! Race Orange, how could it be better?

that would have been my first advice if you were looking for replacements and not painting... IPT Carbon Fiber engine covers are sweet - thumbsup
