Sounds like a serious tranny or drive shaft nuckle problem. Take it in ASAP.

My car does this noise when engine braking in low gears. I was told that it's normal, and I think it is also.
My car also makes the same noise (even during moderate acceleration) when I have been using my AC for a while, and then for some time after I turn it off.
No one knows for sure what causes the problem (many have said it's a loose heatshield, but it's not) but I believe that it has something to do with the AC pressure lines vibrating when in use.
I was going to secure mine, but I forgot.
