I just bought some neon lights for my trunk can someone tell me the best way to power them. i was thinking of using an add a fuse but whats te best place to ground the wires from my trunk? thanks

convert the power supply that your current trunk lighting is using... the light in the passenger side trunk goes ON and OFF depending on if your trunk is OPEN or CLOSED

by using that switch and the electricity from it... you've killed two birds with one stone thumbsup

thanks i tryed doing that but couldnt figure out how to take the light assmbly out to get to the wires. how do you get to the wires?

just take out the CLIPPED side panel ( the one with the lines on it) and reach around to the lighting assembly and push it out... (or you might have to remove the dome cover and the light bulb and there is a screw behind it - i don't remember exactly, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out)

since I wanted to still use the functionality of the switch on my neons - I just removed the light bulb and then tapped my wires directly to the prongs that the bulb was sitting in grin
