Could anyone post some recordings to give me an idea how much noisier than standard these Intakes are?

man...this shit gets intense when you hit lift.prolly like 5 times louder.

I tried taking a recording at lift with my new phone, but it didn't come out good. All I can say for my freak Celica is that the Intake sound is better than an exhaust especially at lift if you have a GTS. And I say my freak Celica because I never heard lift kick in before like I heard on my Celica. It sounds real real real pissed and a definite noticeable click mechanical sound that will scare away children by an overpass or concrete medium. What a difference and the best buy I have ever made for my car other than coilovers.

Makes the same noise as when you stick your penis in a vacuum cleaner hose.

Oh, is that sucking noise the same as how it is in 2 fast 2 furious when they shift gears?

^^ i believe its the blow off valve from the Turbocharger if im not mistaken

the sound is kinda sorta the same.. well maybe not

the sucking noise is mainly when you first turn it on then when it's idling its not as noticable.. but yup when you gun it you hear it growl

on a gts it sorta sounds like a crotch rocket after lift kicks in...in fact i can hear my AEM cai over my TSRM exhaust.

i recommend hitting lift in tunnels as often as possible

The gt we dynoed had A/F problems and was blowing brown smoke out the tail pipe during its stock and aem runs...

yea the TPR exhaust dynoed at 10.5 whp and 8.5 wtq peak on my car over stock. Also, it gained 32whp at 6300 RPM over stock.

Watch the video, you will hear lift start at 4500 ...its only partial lift tho, just a lil project EMS that TPR has goin on :-p we are working our asses off to get our beloved celis up there in the HP ranks

The exhausts are road legal everywhere, the Intakes arent road legal per say in california because we didnt fork over the 6 grand to be able to put a little sticker on it. That hasnt really hurt my cali sales tho.

do you have a dyno on exhaust on the GT

and btw akina i have a sri injen on my gt and the whoooos sound is not loud you can her it suck air at start up but you can barly hear it in teh car and when you turn of teh car you will hear it becuase of teh stero and engien is not making nois.
i dont really know how it is on the out side becuase i never stod on teh out side of teh car whille it drives, but just take away lift in the tpr Intake vid tahts how it sound (lift is when the sound gets crazy 3 sek out in the clip i think)
