Falken or Yokohama for sure, 225/40/17's would be my guess on size. I had Falken 225/50/15's and those were the best tires I've ever had. Good luck

215/40 - I'd usually recommend Yokohama Parada Spec 2's but I've recently heard that they fade quickly...

I used to have Kumhos esctas on my old car, now i have falkens on my celica. I thought the kumhos were a lot better. they are stickier and wear better imo.

I just got new wheels and tires put on my car. I have 215/35/18 Toyo Proxes 4's and they are excellent. I would highly recommend them

if you want to maintain your stock overall diameter
go with 215/45/17 24.5 overall diamter or 215/40/17 will be 23.7
stock overall diamter is like 24.1

Thanks for the advice people, I'm looking into it, I just got my rims on friday. Also my rims size is 17x7 can 225 or 215 fit that? I thought it was 205 that can fit it.
