Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior xm radio antenna location?

I'm suppossed to mount the antenna piece for my xm radio on the outside of the celica...and I don't really know a place that it will look ok...I was thinking on the rear lower window if I have to put it outside...and yes, even though I don't wanna put it outside, I talked to the tech's and I absolutely have to to get the satellite radio thing to work...its a little circular piece about 1.5" long and 1' high...I'm really in need of serious help with this

the only other idea I have is to mount it on the plastic windshield wiper cowl in front of the windshield

I have Sirius, but installed mine on the rear hatch and it works fine.. Never had a problem with reception and never have to worry about wiring it outside as well.

I have the sirius too. Here is where I placed mine I still have to finish the wire mount though.

I put it on the roof, just like Live32day did...and I have a yellow celi, just like him...hehehehehehhe
