How important is it to change out the sleeves of the engine if you are running high boost like 10-20psi.

Uhhhh, I think there is another word for it, not sleeve, but maybe i'm thinking of something else. Well, it's very important, as well as changing the connecting rods, pistons, and everyting else. 10-20 psi is pretty high. Oh yeah, I don't believe you would be "changing" them out. You would have to bore out the cylinder walls some then put the "sleeve" in there.

20psi is abit much! You'll need more than sleeves! You'll need new Transmission Gears. Final Gear and Countless other things. I depends on the kit but you willn't get 20psi.. Even C2Gas hasn't done that yet... He is at 16psi but almost there! It would be bore out the kit to get the sleeves. There are no sleeves just for stock size.. (Not for-sure) Anyways If you're planning on running that high of a psi plan to spend more than 5000.. Wish i had all the numbers for you but I know that your gunna need for starters.

Vavles Springs
Turbo Kit It-self
Upgraded Transmission
Upgraded Clutch
And countless other things.. Its gunna be a lot to run that high

well i wasnt planning on 20psi just giving a range to work with.

Hah thats good.. with a higher psi though your gunna wanna upgrade everything in your engine to be safe! boreing out your engine though may be good but isn't need. The only time that you would need to buy sleeves is if you did bore it out. So to answer your question No it's not nessary
