Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior my custom carbon fiber piece

i just bought a sheet of carbon fiber im going to try to make this piece just to cover up empty spots what do you think of it.

btw its that brown piece thats going to be carbon fiber

if you can round out the edges somehow i think it'd look great

btw, how much $$ was the carbon fiber sheet and what is its dimensions?

i think it will look pretty good.

i got the sheet for $250 and its a 4x4 piece

as in 4 feet x 4 feet? that seems like a lot for a sheet that didnt take much work to make.

umm.. i never said i was going to use the whole piece for that little piece, theres awhole lot more things im going to do with the carbon fiber

its going to be screwed in so it should be fine.

Hey Katch & Kathy sup mah 935 familia. Ya bro that'd look sick! You could put like gauges in their for your nitrous and a purge button for kicks so when someone pushes it at the show it'll spray nitrous in their face . Here's a piece I designed then created the Carbon Fiber portion length and dimensions out of the paperbag template. I'm not sure if you saw it yet at the last show. I made it so it covers all the bolt areas. I like how you'll be covering up the excess space very innovative. Anyway when you look down the big holes in my bay the C-one vented underpanel replaces the dirty plastics so they don't show. See pics.
