Don't you just like getting compliments on your car

just came from the art store when some dood was approaching his truck next to my celica and he said, "nice car"..

yet my car is stock .. but clean and shiny

would have been nice if i had some lambo doors when I got in and a nice exhaust ... i guess he was expecting the celica to do something since he watched me drive off before getting into his truck

yeah i get a lot of people saying nice car and thats the car i want to buy

alot of people like the looks of the celica

Yeah i get compliments all the time too...especially from girls wanting a ride Mine is mostly stock too...besides exhaust, taillights, head unit, and interior neons...yet everyone still loves it and says how nice it is. It really is a sharp looking car..even in stock form...props to toyota

I keep getting a lot of compliments with my own Celica too. Almost everywhere I drive, people keep on asking me where they themself can buy a nice car like this. In my opinion, this is one of the best looking sports cars on the market today. Despite how exposed the Acura RSX really is in the magazines, Celica's are still selling much faster.

i get em too eventhough i dont have many exterior mods. i have got quite a few compliments from old ladys which i think is pretty funny

I had a guy tell me that was a nice Porsche in Kroger parking lot. I was like WTF? But, I quickly corrected him.

My favorite conversation I had with someone in a parking lot went a little something like this.

Dude: Nice hood.
Me: You should see what is under it.

I alway get looks from the MILFS and the girlies! And i get compliments from random people just saying "sweet ride" or "nice car". I love the attention I get when I hit lift and people just stare

As a matter of fact...the other day, I was driving by some teenagers, and one of the kids said to the others "Now that's a nice car." I was like "HELL YEAH!"

I also get a lot of compliments from customers...we do auto glass, so I get to drive a lot of people back to their houses or wherever they need to go. So, when they get my car, they always compliment it.

a kid at school said he'd have sex with me for my car. that would've been a good deal, but it's a celica we're talkin' about here.

I was in the middle of driving off when I told him yeah, and I didn't feel like telling him the truth.

Glad to know that some people think we have big engines under the hood.

the other day i was in the best buy parking lot and some old dude was like, "hey nice car how fast can it go?" i just said thanx and not fast enuf. we both laughed than i took his money...jk

Up in Maryland I noticed some guy kept kinda looking at me on the road. Then at a light he pulled up beside me and in a heavy French accent, he told me, "very nice car." I said thanks and showed off a little.

come to think of it when i picked up my sister from high school one of the teachers though it had a V6 engine..

i had no clue at the time since that was before learning about cars ..etc from this place so i said yah probably..
then he said yah it has to ..thinking back

This lady scared the shit out of me at the gas station the other night. I pull up to the pump right? And, this chick was pumping gas. She seen my car pull up and screams "OMG! is that a Ferrari?" I'm like no... It's a Celica! I kind of chuckled at her. She's like no way! I'm like yeah... She smiles at me, gets in her car and leaves. I'm like It's nice to know that Celica's look like Ferraris, lol.

Another gas station story:

I pulled up to the pump, got out of my car, and this guy was walking out of the gas station and seen me pumping gas. He comes up to me and looks at my car. He says to me, "Does that car go 500 mph?" I'm like no, it's no that fast! He's like, "It's one of those Fast and Furious cars isn't it?" I'm like not quite, but close, lol. He's like, "Well, that's a very nice car and when I get divorced, maybe I could afford something like that. I was practically crying my eyes out after he said that

Yeah, I get it all the time...even gotten a couple when I got pulled over...Solar Yellow is one of those colors for the celica that grabs people no matter who they are...since everyone is sharing I thought I'd share mine...I was driving with the girlfriend and we came to this light, and there were these kids stading there waiting for the city bus. They couldn't shut up about it...they asked me to rev my engine, so my girlfriend starts cracking up, and I revved (of course)...and the kids started clapping!!! ...either that or getting owned by a masarati, and the guy telling me he liked my car after he slowed back down

yeah. I get a lot of compliments on the car, however I do have a lot of work done. Everyone loves the lambos. sometimes I go to gas stations and people won't even let me leave!

Driving down the road, I'll speed by pedestrians and check the rearview to see how many heads turned. Must be my new tint!

There are so many Celicas in my area now. Yesterday I counted 8. 5 of which I saw in my school parking lot.

First question I get asked: Is it manual?
Me: No

Its even more sad that he thinks big engines need premium gas.

It sucks when you got the gf with you and a killer lookin girl wants a ride!!! Oh well what can you do...

I like when I drive by a hot ass girl and I step on the gas so that my cai breathes and it sounds like a Turbo all you hear is "wh000sh". Also when I pull in a parking lot and there some people just standing outside, I like to open my door and turn my car off so I can hear the Intake releasing air and it get's peoples attention too

I caused an accident downtown once. Noon, traffic was really busy. We're just kinda rolling downtown not really fast or anything. All of a sudden it looked like someone threw a glove on the road. I was like what the hell? I looked to the side and a car had just rear ended another caro. I looked at my wife and said "I think that dude was checking out my car and he rear ended the next guy"

Love that blank confused stare while they are trying to figure out what kind of car they are looking at. I used to get that a lot when I first got mine & there were very few on the road.

I get that a lot when I'm stopped at a light, and the car stopped at the light intersecting my street only sees the front of my car.

They just stare and point if there is someone else in the car with them, trying to figure it out.

I get looks and compliments during the day and at night everybody just stares at it. Probably cause out of 62000people in the town there are only 2 of us with color changing LED kits... draws a little attention.

i had the car for a day. i pulled the gas station i work at, and this lady whose a good customer "thats a beautiful car, wut is it?" i was like "just a toyota".

Compliments from people who don't have any clue what I drive are pretty common. They always amaze to know that the paint is original, the car is 11 year old, and to see how clean engine bay/interior is. But ones from people "who knows what it is" are really priceless These include 7-series BMW, M5, F-150 lightning, 66 vettes, subies, evo, RX7, Supra, MR2, Celica, ... )
On a side note, I've never got any compliment from people in 7th gen Celica. I don't know why May be the car is too old for their taste.

Yeah i get a lot of comments about my car. I even lost count. Driving by lil' kids and watching their mouths drop to the floor is funny. "aaaaaaawwwwwwww look at that nice car" Once i was driving on the 101 (California) toward los ventura with my window done and some guy in a old like crysler convertible gets next to me and says NICE CAR. Another going to los angeles on the 405 a guy on a street bike gets next to me totally turns his body toward my car and gives me a thumbs up. I average like 3 compliments a week.

tell me about it...except for people that KNOW celica's...which aren't many around here...EVERYBODY thinks that it has a "big v-6" in it or something...
