Here the link to dyno sheets

http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0209tur_exhaust/index.html

General board opinion :

TRD ...
nice mellow sound
best gains
looks closer to a stock exhaust
costs more

Tanabe ...
nice loud growl
gains almost exactly the same TRD
nice big muffler
costs less

TRD had .2 higher gains that TSRM...that and the sound is the only difference.

I got mine in today..it is soooo sweet!!!!! I got it from modacar.com for $502, not including shipping. It looks great and the sound and gains are awesome. Everyone that has heard it and seen it has only said good things abut it. I recommend the TSRM!!!

I'm going TRD for three reasons...

1) TRD is covered by warranty, if the flange gets warped, or welds break, toyota replaces it for free. Plus it gives an excuse to add a trd emblem.

2) louder exhaust attracts more cops, besides, I'd rather be able to listen to my music than my coffee can exhaust.

3) didn't mention the torque specs, did you? TRD has a little more backpressure & results in a bit over 1 extra pound of torque at the wheels over the tanabe. the GTS needs as much torque as it can get.

Sure, different strokes for different folks, but I'm all about understated performance than looks and sound. the last car I had ran a 2.5" DTM race muffler and was loud as hell, even after I installed a big resonator. it's cool on weekends & stuff, but everyday, it can get to you sometimes. IMHO, factory tuned is the way to go! thumbsup
