Celica Forums General Discussion General Ever consider trading you car in?

I know of at least two members here whom traded their cars in, there was the WRX and the Z06.

Has any one else considered or been really tempted to trade you Celica in for something else? I know I have, but that is because I almost always want more or I get bored easily. I often look through the local Buy & Sell and Auto Trader and see various cars I would have rather bought than the Celica but did not for differant reasons.. the most recent is this one guy I know (online but he lives locally) whom has a 93.5 MKIV TT with new Turbos, Performance flywheel, HKS BOV, and various other mods and he had offered a year ago to let me take it for a spin but the plans never went through (thanks to both sides) but anyways, he is selling the car for pretty cheap and it certainly is tempting.

I plan on trading my Celica for a 1997 Supra once the new Supras come out in the US

Well I imagine that will be ages away since the whole MKV Supra thing is incredibly unpredictable. I think the closest thing to the MKV Supra is going to be that Toyota Voltra(sp) thing.. 400hp Hybrid.

for some reason i'm leaning towards getting a MR2 Spyder...haha

I tried trading it in for an evo, but then I couldn't afford a huge downpayment, but I will in the future. Its because I got a gt, no thing wrong with that, but I want more horsepower. its a wrx, sti or evo. Sometime in the near future, like a year or two.

I am thinking of either an Evo or 350Z...I dunno yet, it will be a long road for me to get there.

I would for an EVO, RX-7 Turbo, STI, or Supra TT

in about 5-6 years i would. I am thinking about a G35 or an S2000.

love to trade in for Evo..primary because i need an AWD, plus the added power are sweet..

I was thinking about trading my car in for a TSX. I wanted more interior room...but I can't afford a higher monthly payment.

i love my car, but at the same time i hate her as well.

i was so close to trade in for a new gen mr2,but im now happy i did not:P
and i was thinking on trading it for an 200sx new model becuase of the engien, but the incurense killed me.
so i stick with my celica

i'd trade mine for either a
Supra N/A or TT
Celica GTS 6-Speed (i know how you feel Erick )
or A Celica GT-Four (if i can find one)

I'd trade my celica in for one of those Mustang GT's. Man, that v8 be pumpin some big numbers. Go burn some imports. Go FORD!

That infiniti G35 sure is one fugly car.. maybe it goes like stink, but it looks like it too
Right now, the only car I would trade it in for would be a TVR Cerbera or Tuscan S.

I WAS THINKING BOUT TRADING MY GTS FOR A GT FOR THE JUS REASON OF SUPERCHARIGNG THA MA-FO...BUT AFTER ALOT OF REASONING (ALOT ALOT) IM KEEPING MY GTS...

Well, maybe for something like that Volta, but that won't be for some time.
