they are going to replace the master cylcnder and booster if they are leaking, or else they will do nothing.

Sure I do, when getting out of a parking spot, when reversing onto a parking spot...

This is a crucial time because this is before or after you kick it with people. Also, you are doing this slowly so people will notice you. Makes me feel like I am driving a broken Ford, not cool. rofl

The squeaking brake pads in the morning especially in reverse have nothing to do with this recall!!! Get it through your heads already!!!
Anything to do with rotors and pads and squeaks is not even going to be considered or looked at by Toyota. That's not the problem. Forget it already. Just forget it until people get a recall notice in the mail. Even then you might not get a fix on the parts. Do we need to go through this again. If someone had there car fixed under the recall post it, otherwise forget it.

That's good to know. I hope they do it the same in Canada too. I always wondered about that. I don't expect new brakes though, but I would want my brakes in peak performance thumbsup

the rotors themselves aren't part of the recall so unless you let them bs you, you should still be able to get in on it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I called Toyota Corp yesterday and they said there's no recall on my VIN#. Then he asked for my current info so that if there was a recall in the future they could get ahold of me. That didn't make me feel very confident that they check the current registration records! Anyway, good luck to all the rest of you. I would call and not wait around for a letter in the mail, but that's just my opinion.

Yes it may qualify. Your warranty has NOTHING to do with a factory recall. Like I've posted in other threads, call Toyota and make sure they have all your info, give them your VIN and they will check it out for you.
