how is it to drill in a carbon fiber hood? can it crack ? shudd a shop do it?

i wouldn't think so..u just mark the place where you want to drill, after you measure and such..put tape on the place you want to drill and find the right drill bits and just drill..

yes it can crack...
i would honestly let a shop drill the holes for you...
once the holes in the hood are drilled its east to install the pins yourself.

I did mine.. its really easy just use a dremel and take your time.

Mark the spot you want to drill. Use a big wide tape, and tape over the spot. Use "diamant borr" (sorry for the norwegian there..) Start with a real thin one (much smaller than the whole you want to make) and then expand in steps with bigger and bigger ones, untill you have the desired size.
And don't use dremel. Get something powerfull with a lot of rpms!

i would have a shop do it...i wouldnt want to risk cracking it
