hi everyone,
i have an 01 spec mica blue gts and was wondering if my lack of power in my 6-7800 (i'm auto) range is due to that. i only have 32k and some change on it, so do you think the lift bolts have gone? when i shift at 7300 it makes a funny noise and it doesn't pull through that power band. if so, how much should a set of lift bolts cost? thanks for the help

depend on ur dealer it cost me 0.64cents for one...and it's called "Flange bolts" ..we here call it lift but the dealer are stupid..u should check the bolts to see if it's broken..if so you can bring it in and have them fix it..there is the TSB on lift bolt being broken...but yeah, go check it..it won't take you longer then 1hr to do the entire procedure..remember the saying: "Lefty loosy, Righty tighty" don't mess it up..cuz if you do you will smear/broke ur lift bolt if they aren't..so remember to turn left, and do it slowly with lil pressure at first then increase until you can turn it with ur bare hand..also clean up the bolt's head with a towel so it won't slip...good luck..
go to.. teamcelica.com and click on TechInfo and look for the guide to change ur lift bolt..

here's the link: www.teamcelica.com/tech/installs/liftbolts/ [teamcelica.com] just copy and paste it to ur browser..
