Well I was at my local TOYOTA dealer last week getting my regular scheduled oil change. And as I drive up to the dealer I notice they have a NICE shiny black Supra sitting there for sale!! After I filled out the standard paperwork with the service guy I couldnt help but take a look at it. It was in such good condition. The interior was almost perfect. Black interior with leather tan. It was really nice. Then I looked at the price tag and was blown away!!
$26,000 for a 1998 auto Supra with 54,000 miles on it.

Then I was approached by 3 sales guys trying to sell me the car. rofl I told them I already owned a sexy beast. But one of the dealer guys started telling me how he was recently in a meeting. One of the topics in the meeting was the re-release of the Supra in 2006 confused spineyes

He said they would estimate the cars value at anywhere from 75k to 90k and would hold a place in the ranks of exotic cars.

Is this guy full of bs or what? confused

Would have been a perfect opportunity for a reply such as :

I'm pretty sure you can count out the Supra being re-released, beacuse my dad has a few on order... And the values the gave you are about right...

However they will not be re-released in 2006, it's a later date than that.

I think Toyota's pissin in the wind w. a 90k price tag. For that price it better perform well beyond the Viper, Ford GT, Z06 and other US built cars

Probably gonna be pushed back farther than that.

I don't know for sure. Toyota hasn't issued a press release that i've seen about Supras. Besides, dealers don't know unless Toyota tells them. My dealership in Escondido doesn't hear anything until 2 months after the public statement. They just found out about MR2s and Celicas being discontinued after 05. rofl
