Hey everyone. My friends and I rented a Benz E class and drove down to Oktoberfest. I hit 243 Km/Hr on the way which is a little more than 145 mph. Would have taken my Celli down, but I don't get it until the 1st. Oktoberfest was fun too, but I think I had more fun driving that fast grin

I like to rock down the fast lane on a decked out Haybusa or an F50. But then again, it wouldn't be as fun if it was legal. thumbsdown

MMMMMM... Autobahn! I use em' almost everyday here in Germany and honestly they start to lose their appeal once you've been driving on em' long enough. It's just another I95 anymore... just w/no speed limit!

Autobahn is one of the smoothest road in the world. I'm sure those cars are also equipped with Z rated tire.

the autobahn's are supposed to be like airport tarmac and like 1' thick from what I remember...they maintain the hell out of them...and its funny that the USA is the most highly regulated country in the world in terms of the highway system, but we literally have the slowest highway speeds...I live in Atlanta...trust me I know we are slow...also, as for montana...for quite some time montana had no daytime speed limit, as each state gets to set its own speed limits, and for a while there were spots in nevada that were the same way...however, the federal government didn't like the idea of an open limit, and a few years ago made them post a 75 mph limit...it is a known fact that they do not enforce them, as I have personal experience on the nevada roads (in a supra going 135 with cruise control on on the way to the annual vegas supra meet with a buddy of mine)...just my .02

^^^^^ no way man... Canada has got to be the slowest. I've never driven a road that has a speed limit over 100km/h which is 60mph. I would love it if we had 75mph limits.

Where I live you can generally do 20km/h over the limit without being pulled over.
