Isaac, the X-box is huuuuge. Its the biggest out of gamecube, and playstation 2. The gamecube is the smallest out of all of them, but IMO i think the games for ps2 are the best. You also cant play DVD on the gamecube.

gamecube do not have that many software and functions... PS2 is good because it has a lot of games available already... X-Box is the way of the future dude, they just hired a lot of people who use to work for Sony PS projects and programmers.

Take PS 2... you can hide it sumwhere (like where you put your DVD player) or besides it...

I like my PS2 so much more. As for Xbox, I cant get the controls right for Halo, seems like a sweet game though.

i got a PS2 with a eclipse 7301. The head unit fit right where the factory head unit is. I got a custom box that fits right underneath the glove box for the PS2. Looks much better than all the people i've seen with the Ps2 IN the factory glove box. It doesn't fit in the glove box. It's not deep enough. That's what i used to do but it didn't look good at all.

If you want to get a tv or dvd player in your car I have the PERFECT solution. I got the Clarion VRX925VD which is an indash dvd player, cd player, mp3 player, fully motorized 7 inch LCD monitor (which is even touch screen and kicks ass. It cost 1,400 from www.myriskfree.com [ myriskfree.com] (cheaper than ANYWHERE). The MSRP on the item is $2500. Its better than most because it is ALL indash, it doesn't require a dvd player under the seat or anything and it looks pimp. For more info on this system you can check it out at http://www.clarion.com/products/multimedia/multi1.htm

I gotta role with my brand name again ALPINE til the end. I personally think staying with just a PS2 and having to reach over into the glovebox on every CD change is very tough and unsafe. I went with the seperate TV and DVD which i love because it takes up the full double din. Cant go wrong w/ Alpine, best quality and RESOLUTION!!! ![[Linked Image from pix.crutchfield.com]](http://pix.crutchfield.com/products/2002/500/h500IVAC801.jpeg)

the last thing i would buy is an X-box or gamecube . You all know celica isn't big, and have you seen an X-box system and its controllers? they are hugggeeeeee . Gamecube is the worst of all, it's ugly and most of the games are kiddy game! and you can't fit it anywhere in your car. PS2 is the way to go, its play DVD, CD, and games from PS1 as well. Its can fit under your driver seat or passenger. Its small enough to fit into most places where the other two game systems couldn't! That's my opinion.
Life is like a dream...Hopefully when you wake up it isn't like mine.

Ight you got to go with the slim ps2 over all other systems. It is the best car system. Xbox seems to not read well at on angles. Dont take bass too well either. And best of all ps2 is tiny and plays dvds. Just cant go wrong. But why a dvd player? I got a fosgate ravdvd2 and it plays dvds. It is for sale! hehe ! thanks chad

Im going to against the grain here and say get a head unit with a screen and dvd and you could drop a game cube in the armrest with a little modding. treu the cube has limited games, but most of the greates are on all 3 systems anyway. also they sell mini controllers for it thaat are like half the size (wireless too if i remember correctly). remember though whatever you do leave room for the system to ventalate. them things can over heat real quick from my experiance with ps2 and the cube anyway

First, I had an Alpine DVD changer in the armrest which was really nice but I decided to go with something that I can play with when I got tired of watching DVDs. So I decided to get an XBOX. I had the XBOX in the trunk of my Celica for about 3 months but decided to get the NEW redesigned PS2 because its a lot smaller and because the XBOX DVD control SUCK BIG DONKEY BALLS. You literally need to be stranding in front of the XBOX to control the DVD player. I tried everything, even using mirrors to control the beam but it didnt work. However, you dont have this problem with the PS2 because you can control the DVD player with a regular control and dont need an extra DVD kit. So, I purchased the redesigned PS2 with the Logitech wireless controls and I have to say that this is one of the best setups. I love those wireless controls and the signal literally goes through walls. Currently Im working on permanently mounting the PS2. Oh and I also have a rearview cam|

anyone notice, this threads last posts were in 2002? You brought back an OLD thread from the dead.. true... plus, this topic isn't relevant any longer since the times have changed and the sizes of the electronic devices have shrunk since this topic was originally posted THREE YEARS AGO.
