I was wondering, how much would it cost to get my car repainted. I was aslo wondering if any of you guys and gals know of some cool color suggestions. I like dark colors and my car is currently carbon blue. Just throw anything out there. I would appreciate it.

Thx

Yeah, I know what color you're talking about. Cadillac bought the right to that color from some guy who bought one of the first Escalade trucks and repainted it that color. A GM from Cadillac saw the car at a show and asked to buy the rights to be able to market the color. True story thumbsup

Go to a real well known shop that you know for sure does great work spraying cars. I hate seeing cars with errors in the paint job, windshield gaskets all screwed up, overspray everywhere, jams not painted, under the hood clash, paint ripples, swirls, chunks, dust in clear coat, drips, runs, orange peel, improper color sanding marks, and just plain shitty work that never drys and chips. Just as long as the bodyshop sprays real well with no flaws just about any color can look good. Great paint job is #1 if you want to set off your rides appearance. I'd spend from 2-10g's depending on how much labor your shop will charge you per hour for the amount of work they put into your ride. If you're going show/street it will matter. Their's also the bright neon or pastel colors. It all depends on your taste.

If you like the stock street look do something simple like a gunmetal, bronze, usually the flat colors 1 stage. Cost around 8bills - 1g's.

If you like the mild look some street & some show but you want to capable of driving it around without getting keyed do a pearl or candy color. 2-3stages cost around 2-5g's

If you're going for show go ballz out wild & set if off with something different that'll blow peoples minds off. Any of the cameleon colors, chrome colors, marble, flaked, airbrush. Like a 3-5 stage cost around 3-10g's.

Word of advice get a couple estimates before your blow out all your $$$$$.

ohhhhhhh mannnnnnnnnn ya want to repaint Carbon blue ?? my friends 01' GT in that color & it just looks wicked especialy once ya wash & wax it or when it get's wet !!!!

The only color's I can come up with that would look killer on a Celica is 1 that Toyota japan offers Super White just checked & seen toyota usa also offers this color too ... if your car looks like a TRD / action pack type I'd sugest that color ... Or maybe finding a way to add more depth to the Carbon blue so that it reflects diffrent colors more ...

colors that jump out at me from looking at the toyota us site & car's color options:

mr-2: Phantom Grey Pearl

Matrix: Black Sand Pearl & Shadow Mettalic

Echo: Electric Green Mica, Polar White (kinda looks like bright white with abit of pearl in it), Sand Castle Metallic

Corolla: Catus mica, Desert sand mica

Camry: Black Onyx, Lunar mist metallic

Solara: Artic frost pearl, Oceanus perl

Avalon: Cassis pearl, Diamond white pearl

Prius: Salsa red perl.

Myself if I was ever get to own a 7th gen Celica I want 1 of the bright white colors ... with the Celica letter's colored in red on the trunk hatch or a dark but shimmery black or blue witht he same thing done to it.

As someone else said earlier in the thread all depends on if your looking for flash or just stealth like looks for your car .. but the color's i sugested here give ya a good rance of bright & dark contrasts to base a choice from .. thumbsup
