Remove the tire, caliper & rotor first.

There is a small slot designed to allow the stud to be changed. (circled in picture # 2)

Hammer out the old one.

Use a lug nut to pull the new one until its flush.

Hub Bolts can be purchased from your Toyota Service Center for about $3 to $5 each...

Definately be careful tightening your lugs. They only require about 75lbs torque. My advice is to not use lubricant on them, it could cause the lugs to losen themselves. Also, all lugs should be retorqued after 20 miles.

The stud cost me about $5 CDN & its roughly a 20 min job to replace it. thumbsup

This web site has been a life/money saver. I love my 2000 celica gts. I broke a lug, rotating my tires today. I thought I was doomed to an all day repair or a service trip to the dealership. Thanks for the pictures and info.
