I just got my g-tech yesterday and so far it is really sweet. I was just looking for others who have one to ask them some questions. Like, weight, what where your Hp and tourge numbers, 0-60 that kinda thing. If you have one let me know.

The G-Tech is a fun toy. I don't have any numbers here at work. For weight I went to a friend's workplace where they have a weighscale for trucks. Dumps usually have scales as well. To keep numbers consistent, weigh your car right after you top up with gas and then always do your runs on a full tank. Empty your cargo area of things you don't normally carry around. If you keep the weight of your car the same whenever you test, then the effect of any Performance mods is more accurately noted. Stay away from doughnuts before you test.

they tend to be a little optimistic IMO. but they are fun lil toys. When i run outa mods to do I might get one.
I wanna see what it says for 0-60 compared to a 1/8 mile calculation. the online calculators say I'm at 4.5 - 4.6 depending which one you use lol would be cool to see what a gtech would say.
any truck stop should have a place where you can weigh your car. make sure you have them wait til your in it to print the weight. otherwise you'll be heavier then you think.
Best 60' 1.959 best 1/4 - 13.7 @ 101mph

It seems real accurate and they say that they are accurate to 1-100th of the second in the quater mile. But everything is set up with you cars real weight. I got mine close. I went to the 1/8 track and i was running 9.74 and the g-tech said 9.68. and that was just with guessing my wieght. so yeah i think that they are pretty accurate. My best 0-60 time was 6.3 and that is pretty good since stock is 6.9. And these things do everything, they are a lot of fun.

Quarter mile times don't have to do with weight at all. Only HP and Torque readings do. You can have your G-Tech totally unprogramed...run the 1/4 and get the same time every time...assuming you drive exactly the same every time. I have a G-tech and the best time I could get when I was stock... with 480 treadwear...was 15.2 in the 1/4. I am also at 4600 feet elevation. If you have anymore Q's I will see if I can answer them tonight when I get off work.

I think that your accurate weight is very important. I seet my weight to 3000lbs and i ran 0-60 in 5.2 and the 1/8 mile in 9.1 (my best time at the track is a 9.6) SO what weight do you have in your g0tech for your celica?

I read the manual and they only need the weight to do HP and tourque #'s...However it has been awhile sence I read it...I might be mistaken. I have mine set at 5580. I weigh about 180 and I have taken 100lbs off of my car
