Well, I was going to wait to surprise everyone with my rearview cam as my 2nd video option but Im clueless as where I should mount it. idunnoAccording to the UPS tracker I should have it on Friday, so Im hoping to get it installed over the weekend. I was thinking about replacing the trunk lock assembly with the rearview cam since it already has the keyhole but Im not sure if it would fit or if I would get such a clear view. frown Anyone has any ideas on where to mount? confused

Talking about clips. One of the reasons why I wanted to do this was because I saw several clips from Satoshi but he has his cam too low for my liking.

However, when I got into my boyz H2 last week his Hummer came with the rear view cam as an option and it was AWESOME, not to mention that everyone looks at that H2 cause its a beast. His cam was mounted on the roof but our Celi is too short and I think if I mount mine on the roof some asshole is just going to rip it right off.

I could also see me getting tired of it, thats why I wouldnt recommend it as the only video source but as an option.

The front would be cool to record races or if youre chasing someone but I think the rear would be a lot more useful because I only chase people on the weekends. grin

Actually, I could imagine how AWESOME it would be to put RED and WHITE strobes on my Celi and have the cam recording it for you guys. This reminds me when my boyz installed a loud speaker on my Celi and went around pulling people over and telling pedestrians to get out of my way. rofl It was funny as hell, I wish I would've had the cam then. grin grin grin

LOL! My vote is in the trunk lock, I think it'll look good there. It's high off the ground so you would get a pretty nice view of your rear. thatsfunny

I like Ericks idea of putting it on the oposite side of the lock so it is symetrical plus you still have use of the trunk lock

You can mout it on the inside... screw it into the ceilling... and aim it out the back window.

and if you want to do it smart..

somehow put it on a "thingy" i dont know how to explain it to you... that would allow you to turn the cam so you can look out the front window too...

that is how i would do it
thumbsup

that is best way i can explain it to u
