no

in a celica it has space for the exhaust and it wont burn in it, in exhausts for other cars with flat rear bumpers it would screw it up

well for one thing, when properly installed, your muffler tip should not be resting against your bumper

Some people will have a problem. This is probably for those that have got a universal muffler and custom exhaust. They probably didn't take enough R&D time. As for the tip looking burnt, thats just because people do not take the time in cleaning and keeping it polished. As for me, The exhaust is a must. Gotta keep it polished and shiny.

ive seen this before, not sure if from cheap exhaust or what. the one i remember the most was this white prelude. had a bunch of "soot" i guess. bunch of black shite on the rear valence around the exhaust, but the exhaust was not touching. could be the exhaust was too short? thats why they make a standard length and extended length exhaust for the celica without and with the action package. i think the end tip of the exhaust should stick out further than the rear valence. thumbsup

TRD Extended does not have that problem...Toyota knew what they were doing and so do other aftermarket companies that are big.
