Celica Forums General Discussion General what's that noise?

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this. My alarm will sometimes randomly beep 5 times in rapid succession when armed. It's kind of like the beep it makes when the alarm has been tripped and I unlock it, but this is faster.

I know the alarm isn't being tripped and it just seems to do it off and on.

This isn't the stock alarm by the way.

usually when someone touches it, thats wut it does. its like the warning sound. is someone touching ur car? you said this happens alot? maybe you didnt close a door well.

I would just reset the alarm if you can..

mine goes off randomly too

It's gone off when no one has touched it. I wonder if it could be the door, I'm really careful about not slamming my door. Maybe that's it.

does the alarm actually go off or does it just beep?

take it back to where you got it install and make them fix it..
